More Information
Any UHESA member is eligible to be nominated for a UHESA Board position; nominees do not have to be current staff association members or UHESA delegates. You may nominate yourself or someone else. You may submit as many nominations as you would like. Nominees will be contacted by the UHESA President-Elect to determine willingness to serve and eligibility prior to be added to the election ballot.
Nominees will be asked to provide a brief Statement of Intent to be included on the ballot.
During your term, Officers are required to attend the monthly General meeting and may be required to attend the quarterly Executive meeting, as well as any subcommittee meetings as needed. Officers should also plan to attend the UHESA Annual Conference which is held in person each July.
Anticipated minimum time dedication is one to two hours per month, not counting the Annual Conference, which is 1 1/2 days long, in person at one of our member institutions here in Utah. Some positions (e.g. President) may require more time. Find out more about each position's responsibilities by reviewing the UHESA Bylaws and Constitution. If you have questions, please contact the UHESA President-Elect.
